This Anklet is made with high quality large kahelelani shells and momi shells hand picked from the north shore beaches of the garden island of Kauai, Hawaii. The Kahelelani shells are one of the most rare and sought after shells in the world. They are the ONLY shell that is classified as a GEM and were at one time worth more per ounce than gold!
The Puka shell clasp is very strong and will not come undone while being worn.
The anklet is strung on 50lb' test braided nylon line so it is very durable and can be worn in fresh or salt water, but should never be worn in the shower or pool since chemicals deteriorates the shells.
