This necklace is a exquisite Kauai Laiki shell lei. Not only will this necklace maintain it's integrity and luster, it will continue to gain in value exponentially. The Laiki shells are only found on a few select beaches on Kauai and on the forbidden Island of Niihau. I collect mine on the north shores of the garden island ofKauai and sort each one by size, color, and quality. I then hand drill the holes in them in precisely the right place for this intricate and difficult weave. This necklace represents over a hundred of hours of work and truly embodies the spirit of Aloha.
LENGTH: 18.5' inches
This lei is strung on 50lb' braided nylon line, so it is very strong and durable.
Necklace will be shipped in a gift box.
