This is a very unique and vibrant piece made with Hawaiian dwarf cone shells with puka shells collected from the beaches of Kauai, Hawaii. Puka shells are actually the tops of cone shells that have been tumbled in the ocean waves for many years. These leis are much more lightweight then a lei made with just puka shells. This necklace looks great on men and women. It is strung with 80lb' test braided nylon line, so it is very strong and can be worn in fresh or salt water. There are less Cone an Puka shells each day, do to our oceans water level rising and pollution. Please respect our oceans our greatest natural resource.
