This necklace is made with 122 Strombus shells also known as Alilea shells on Hawaii, all hand picked from the north shore beaches of Kauai. It has taken me several years to find this many alilea shells to make this lei, it is strung differently than then the tradition style which makes it very unique. This lei will continue to gain in value, as the shells are washing in fewer each year due to pollution in our oceans.
Length: 20' inches
Strung on 50lb' test braided nylon line, so it is very durable and can be worn in water. The Puka shell clasp is very secure.
Lei will arrive in a gift box.
